email error

    When I send email from a cron script, I get strange errors like:

    xxxxxxx@yahoo.com
    unrouteable mail domain "yahoo.com"

    what could be problem for this?

    error comes in "Mail Delivery System" emails

    Do you have root access on the server ?. If yes check the exim log . If no contact your hosting provider to solve this issue.

    Hello,

    Check the option "Prevent the user 'nobody' from sending out mail to remote addresses" in your WHM tweak setting. If it is ticked, untick it and then try.

    well, my question is why yahoo.com returns unroutable ...

    I am worried that mail to valid accounts might not be sent

    You need to look for errors/messages that appear in the exim mainlog when you send to such an address and address those.

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

    While that's running, do your cron thing in another window and watch the output of the above. It updates in real-time.
