Email filters from transferred cPanel account Copies not moves email

I successfully transferred several accounts from my old server to my new one. Even the user email filters transferred. These filters also work. However, they seem to simply copy the email to their desired location. The original is still sitting in the inbox.

Is this a feature, not a bug? Or a setting I'm missing? Or do I need to re-create all of my filters?

Hey there! I would expect filters to work as they did on the previous machine as those are just plain text files that get transferred over. We would need to examine the filter in question to determine why that behavior is happening.

Since this is easily reproducible, you could create a ticket with our support team so we can check the behavior. You could also check the mail logs at /var/log/exim_mainlog to see if there is anything obviously wrong happening with the filters for a particular email that has been handled.
