Hello!

We have a situation that one of our new customers uses e-mail "Trash" folder as a common folder. I know, we were shocked as well.
We have an auto expunge trash functionality set and the expiration time is 7 days.
The customer has been with us since May 1st, so the time span is not too long.

My question. Is there a possibility to recover e-mails folder-based?
I mean, is there a possibility I could recover only the "Trash" since the May 1st?

I hope my explanation was clear enough.

I don't think you can recover those, unless they're included in backups if you have backups from that far back, even then I'm not 100% that trash is always included in backups. I would suggest moving forward you educate your user on what the repercussions of putting email in "trash" might be.

Hello Lauren!
Thank you for the answer!

We managed to solve the problem by comparing the backup files by size and found the one, where all the Trash folder had client's 2300 needed letters in there.
After we created two Outlook profiles (one IMAP and another POP3), using POP3 downloaded all the folders and letters to our computer and after that synced the last snampshot-settings while using IMAP.

It was unreasonable work but another educating experience for the future.
