Hi
I face the following problem. When someones sends an email to [email protected] he receives the following message :

"This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

[email protected]
(generated from [email protected])
The mail server could not deliver mail to [email protected]. The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries."

I receive the mail normally but it seems like someone has put a forwarder from the [email protected] to the [email protected]. The second mail does not exist and thats why the senders get this message.
I checked the forwarders at cpanel and not a such forwarder exists.

Any help???

Hey there! Can you check the /etc/valiases/domain.com file on your server to see if there is a forwarder listed there that isn't showing up inside of cPanel? That is the most likely area that would cause something like this to happen.

Well we've recently issued same thing.
In cpanel Go to Email filters >> Find Your Address >> Take a look At Filters.
Investigate filters.
We found Unknown email filter Named as "." and it has rule if mail contains @ forward [email protected]ru
Don't forget the change Cpanel, Email Password.
