Email Forwarders and Filters Issue

I'm using the latest version of cPanel and for one of my email accounts, I've added a forwarded as well as a filter.
The forwarder sends the email to another email account on the same domain and the filter puts the emails into specific folders.

Before the filter, forwarding was working flawlessly, however after adding the filter, emails are getting delivered to the folder, but are not being forwarded anymore.

Also, in the filter, when using the 'equals' comparator, emails don't seem to be recognized and filter doesn't work. However, when using 'contains' it seems to work. Any reason regarding that?
