Hi,
When I create a new email forwarder in cPanel 5 it doesn't allow me to set a password for it. To be able to send emails from a forwarding address authentification is not required, and what is more it doesn't work with authentification at all.
This is from the cPanel help:
&If there is an email account created for any forwarder, that forwarder will not function.& - it is definitely not possible to create password for forwarders. My question is:
This way anyone will be able to fake emails using someone's forwarders and it would look like emails were sent from your forwaring address. What do you think?
Thanks,
Sharon.
