Using the CPanel end user interface I have set up two email forwarders, one from to and the other from to

The problem is that although all email reaches the email address that it should be forwarded to, not all emails appear in the inboxes on the server. This is confusing me, because in order to reach the forwarded inboxes, it must be processed on this server first, yet there is no sign of the emails.

There does not appear to be any trend to which emails dont appear and which do.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Hmm, and only some of the mails that are forwarded aren't reaching your inbox? If you have spambox enabled, I recommend checking your spam folder.

    Can't send e-mail via SquirrelMail

My e-mail forwarder (SquirrelMail) has not been working for a week now. Further troubleshooting shows that my e-mails are not being sent/received at all except between existing SquirrelMail accounts. I'm using the same setup I've used for years without a problem so I am at a loss.

E-mail sent to my personal account is not received; mail manually forwarded is not received; customers are not receiving my e-mail responses.

I am unable to log in at the help desk to make a ticket even though I am logged in. And this is my 2nd time trying to respond to this post. Although logged in, I am getting a message that I am not when I try to post the reply. Its almost like I have security problem or something. We'll see what happens this time.

p.s. it worked but then I was unable to edit my reply and got a message that I wasn't logged in again...what the heck?

UPDATE: E-mails are now being sent/received to customers but the forwarding to my personal account is not working. This means that the problem is with YAHOO! mail not SquirrelMail. So, anyone with a forwarder set up to YAHOO mail that isn't working, I'd love to hear from you if you find a solution.

SOLUTION: This problem has now been resolved by contacting Yahoo. They said there were server problems in my area that are being worked on and as of this morning the Forwarder is working properly. FYI, no forwarded e-mail should ever be deleted or blocked unless you set it up that way. My YahooMail is set up to accept all mail except addresses that I block and to put suspected spam into a bulk folder for me to decide what to do with it. Yahoo also provided me with a point of contact to send my business addresses to (to request block removal) if the problem should arise again. I'm happy!:)

I've heard this isn't the case with AOL and I'm not sure how they are getting away with blocking e-mails that have been addressed to their customers. I would personally find that unacceptable mail service.

I suggest searching the forums for 'yahoo' and 'forwarding'... you'll find a number of posts...

short answer: don't forward to yahoo.

what eventually happens (or has happened because of any number of people on the same server) is that yahoo (or people using yahoo accounts) mark forwarded messages as spam, and yahoo then marks the forwarding server (and not the original server) as sending spam. Yahoo will then begin to delay and/or refuse email.

On my server, I've begun the process of removing forwards to AOL, hotmail and yahoo for this very reason.
