How do I preserve the POP3 email accounts that are currently setup to a parked domain, but that parked domain is now going to become a standalone account?

    I will be:

    a. removing the domain as parked domain from one site

    b. adding the domain as a new account

    Go on, have a guess
AFAIK, there's no straightforward way to do that. You stuck with unparking the domain and recreating everything by hand after creating the new cPanel account for the domain.

    Thanks Chirpy,

I was hoping that was not the answer.

I had 5 email accounts with this domain. I will

a> copy the email files to a temp folder

b> remove the domain as a parked one

    c> add a new account

d> add the new email accounts

e> move the email files (step a) to their rightful places
The email account holders will have to update their passwords

    Cheers!
