I cant find where/how to fix this

I am getting emails sent to my mail@myISP.com

    from root or nobody@main.mydomain.com

my isp rejects them as not being from a valid email addy

how to I make those come fro admin@mydomain.com instead?

i set up forwarding in change system mail preferences but that doesnt seem to be doing anything

    can anyone help? TIA

I can't see why the ISP should reject mail... whether it comes from nobody@ main.mydomain.com or admin@ mydomain.com should make no difference.

Try going to www.dnsreport.com and typing your domain name - make you pass the test for "reverse dns entries for your mx records".
