You could check that the contact settings are correct.

WHM > Server Contacts >Change System Mail Preferences

Make sure root's mail is set correctly

WHM > Server Contacts > Contact Manager

Make sure that Account Creation, Account Removal, Account Suspensions, Account UnSuspensions, Account Upgrades/Downgrades are set to the same priority as matches the email alert priority at the top of the same page.

Checked all that. Even though it worked before, and I have not changed anything.

All looks ok. And I tried sending from "root@server.com" to different email-addresses, and it works fine.
I also tried from "cpanel@server.com" - all works great.

I still get the "scripts/upcp" emails, and so on. But Creation/termination of accounts no longer sends the result to me.

(and yes, I have no email-filter or SpamAssasin activated for the recieving email-address)

    Strange issue this..

    /Regards Erik.

Well, I have tried that too. It all works fine, but creation or termination of a account is no longer sending the usuall email.

I recive the "upcp" and "cpbackup" mails, so I belive there is a little bug. Maybe just for this feature or just when Cpanel send mail.

Checked. :) But sadly I have never changed this, and it worked before I upgraded Cpanel and Whm panel.
More strange is that I recive mails from "cpanel@domain.com" when I Upgrade an account, but not when I create, Terminate or Suspend one.

    So, I guess it's a bug. :(

(And I am using an external email-address)

You should check the exim mainlog when you perform one of those actions to see what is happening to the emails.

Thankyou very much, why didn't I think of that. I will try that, and see if something is sent or what happens. :)

    ---- me again -- -
    No mail is sent.
Then I tried upgrade a account. That mail was sent.
I noticed that in WHM panel this line is there when I do a upgrade/downgrade:
    Notifcation => erik@psychofrog.se via EMAIL [level => 1]

But that line is not present when I create a new account or terminate one.
    Shouldn't it be there?
As I said eralier, I have not changed anything, and it has worked before my upgrade of Cpanel and Whm panel.

    /Regards Erik.

Make sure that the Server Contact E-Mail Address is set under the Basic cPanel/WHM Setup section.

Well, yes it is.(double checked that too) If it wasn't set correct, I should not recive mails when I upgrade/downgrade a account.
    Thanks anyway. :)

Check in WHM > Contact Manager and make sure that all the entries are set to the same vale as the Email alert type and that next to the Email alert type it shows your email address.

Hello. Checked that 3 times, it's like it has been when we installed everything.
    (Back when it worked)

To be sure, I also changed the values and saved. Tried create a account - no luck.
After that I changed back to how it should be, and has been.
    But no progress.

    Strange issue this.

Yep definately a bug. It's happening to me too after an update. No email notices when account creation or deletion occurs. NOthing has changed on my end as far as contact addresses and server admin addresses... It just started after an upgrade.

    Jupiter...

Hi, I thought it was some local issue at my server. Nice to hear that it's not.

Wonder when Cpanel crew will fix the bug - or maybe they need to get a report first? Where can we submit this "bugreport"?

If you believe you've found a repeatable bug then you should create a bugzilla entry as per the support page on cPanel's site and include as much technical details as you have found. You should then probably log a ticket through your license provider and reference the bugzilla entry so that it's brought to cPanel's attention and they can access your server if need be.

    Related?

I don't know if this is related or not, but I have a similar problem, except I cannot make changes in the contact boxes - I enter a new e-mail address (as two are blank), and hit save on each one, go back, and the box is empty - therefore I get NO cpanel chservd mail etc... anyone got any way to fix it??
