So when you have 2 clients on the same server, and the setting to send mail from accounts dedicated IP's is on, and one of the clients is using remote email, when the client that uses cpanel (local mail exchanger) for email sends client 2 an email (remote), that email is then sent using client 2's ip address. This is somewhat confusing, can anyone explain why this occurs?

Just from some digging around I'm thinking that exim originally thinks the recipient is local, then sends on the recipient accounts behalf using the recipients account ip, this sometimes produces some undesired side effects in some situations. I cant edit my previous post or else I would have just added this to my original post.
