email keeps disconnected

Hi!
I was very happy with my new server, but today I found all my accounts on this server have problem with receiveing email use pop3, it keep disconnected while I am receiving emails, I only notice there is a inbox.lock under /home/user/mail/account/

what do you mean pop3 is disconnected?

if it keeps disconnecting your session to the server then it must be because of your internet service provider.

if you are not able to connect to the POP3 server at all then go to your WHM - scroll down to restart services and then restart your POP3 Server.

I can connect to my pop3 with my login id/paswd, but when I receive 3 or 5 emails, it disconnected.

I already try restart pop3, no luck.

I just found if I change my local connection from ADSL to dail up (means I change IP address), then connect to my server to receive email with no problem, will there any chance that cpanel blocks my ADSL IP ? But I also have try to disconnect my ADSL to get a new IP, but still fail to receive emails stablely, always disconnected me after I receive 3~5 emails.

My service provider tell me to use this command,
exim -d9 -qff
I am not quite sure what it is means.
