I have recently ran into an issue that I can't figure out.

I remotely logged into their computer and it just will not work via webmail cPanel keeps loading the login screen and I cannot log in, yes the passwords and usernames are correct. The ISP is AT&T they could not even log in with their iPhone on Wifi, but turn off wifi and they are in, so I narrowed it to something with their provider or perhaps their IP is being blocked (but it is not firewalled and no blocks are showing in cPHulk) but it makes no sense to me, I checked their virus protection program and router and did not anything immediate. Nothing in the logs, it is like they are firewalled, but I can ping the server just fine and the server loads the username and password prompt. Also tried using Windows mail, still will not authenticate.

Any ideas?

Hello :)

It sounds like the email address is blocked by cPhulk. You mentioned there were no entries for this email address in the cPHulk interface. Have you tried temporarily disabling it completely to rule it out as the cause of the problem?

Thank you.

Yes Michael you are right, I figured out last night, just could not get back in here and report that. I do not understand why cPHulk was blocking it with nothing showing as being block. There were no Ip's in the block list. I flushed it an whitelisted the address and it works.

It's tough tracking a ghost. Do you have any suggestions why the IP (actually no ip's) were in cPHulk's list?

You can check to make sure it's database is not corrupted:

Code:
# mysqlcheck cphulkd
Please open a support ticket if you notice that cPHulk continues to not display blocked IP addresses so we can investigate that.

Thank you.
