Hi Guys, I am new here and not so techy so please be gentle.

First question: I have activated email over size notification and its sending mails only to admin, whereas i like that mails should go to admin and user both. So that user can clear his/her emails.

    Second question:
It send notification email only once at 4 am, how i can change the timing to 8.00 am and change frequency to check quota and send email every 4 hr.
(I tried installing cronjob, but it says permission denied as im on Go daddy VPS).

    Third question:
Why notification email comes only once and never again even after 24hr interval?

    Thanks in advance
    Cheers.

The emails are only sent to the administrator rather than the user. This is not currently configurable to change the recipient. You may wish to post a feature request concerning that option using Feature Requests for cPanel/WHM

As for the time interval, again this is not configurable for the machine nor the frequency. I would add that to the feature request posted.

For the last question, the email notification should not only be sent out once but daily so long as the account(s) are over quota. What cPanel version are you using?

    Code:
    cat /usr/local/cpanel/version

    CENTOS 5.6 i686 virtuozzo on ip-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX

Can you please explain why this script isnt working: /scripts/quotacheck > /dev/null 2>&1

Are you running it as root user or how precisely? When I run that command in root SSH command line, I receive no error.

Can you post the command used as root user with the error returned? Having the output copied directly from command line can oftentimes be extremely beneficial.

    Next, please provide the following:

    Code:
    ls -lah /scripts/quotacheck
    lsattr /scripts/quotacheck

The permissions look fine on that file, so I don't see any reason why you would be receiving permission denied errors. I suggest opening a support ticket for this issue so we can take a closer look:

    Submit A Ticket

Post the ticket number here and we can track the issue.

    Thank you.
