Whm sends out my quota notifications around Midnight every night. Is there a setting or a program change that I can make to send these out immediately? I want it to notify the user as soon as they hit the 80% notification not wait until midnight to send all these out. Any ideas?

At this time, immediate sending of quota notifications as disk space is being consumed is not supported.

    Hi,

    Run this script from SSH:

    /scripts/quotacheck

Also make sure that you have set the quota notification settings from WHM -> Tweak Settings section.

Once this script completes the execution all the over quota users should receive the email notification to their email account.

So they would receive the emails then? I have notifications on. It's just the emails go out so late, which could result in an account going down over night.

Could I set this up with cron to run automatically?

If you have enabled the notification and once the script completes the execution all the over quota users should receive mails. Moreover, you can also run the cron to run the script.

I ran an account over quota. I then ran the quotacheck script so that it would generate the emails. I haven't received any notifications. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I also cleared the account name out of the /var/cpanel/quotawarned to see if that would stop the notification. Still no email. I am assuming that I will get the warnings tonight around midnight instead of now, which is a big pain.
