Email password files are not deleted after deleting email account.

Hi All,
I've deleted email accounts from few of my domains hosted on cPanel on my dedicated server.
I deleted account from domain's cpanel.

The local password files for these E-mail accounts still exist.
E.g.
./user/etc/domain.com/@pwcache/mailuser

If email account doesn't exist then why cPanel keeps the password file? I expected it to be deleted too?

Any clue?
