Hi there,
I've recently begun splitting a single cPanel account into multiple accounts based on the original's many addon domains. I've been able to transfer over SQL data, public_html data, etc & mail folders. However, I cannot get the email accounts to show up in cPanel or have users access the accounts. Looking into it further, I see that everything in the /mail and /etc folder is still owned by the original account. Running fixhome doesn't seem to fix the permissions for everything in those two folders. Rebuilding the email accounts in WHM gives me permission errors as well.
Any one have any suggestions on how I can get these mail accounts and /etc data switched over to the correct user ownership and have the accounts show up in cPanel again?
Thanks in advance for your help. Happy Thanksgiving!
