    I had created two email accounts on my Cpanel. They use to both appear on the email page. They are no longer there. I tried to recreate them I I get this error message... Invalid argument: /home/????atio/etc/????ation.com/passwd passwd .... What am I doing wrong? And where did my old addresses go?

    Check whether the file at /home/username/etc/domain.com/passwd has correct ownership and permissions.

    For the passwd file the ownership and permission should be as shown below:

    ==
    -rw-r--r-- 1 username mail 356 Feb 26 19:56 passwd
    ==

    Typically in my experience I find that this is caused by running out of inodes on your server.

    To confirm this type the command:

    df -i

    If this is indeed the issue please contact your system administrator resolve.
