Email Problem, We think it is cpanel related:

Our client is using Netscape Communicator 4.7 as a pop email client. He is having trouble getting access to his email.

Does anyone know if this could be a cpanel problem?

    Hi \"overskilled\", is he receiving a \"username/password mismatch\" error?

We\'ve had some clients using Netscape mail receive this error in the past, and found it was due to the way Netscape interprets the \"@\" sign in a username. Instead, the client should replace the @ sign with a \"%\" sign.

For example, if the old username was: user@domain.com

    The new username would be:
    user%domain.com

    Good luck!

    Brian

Thanks for that tip guys I\'m going to write that one in our user manual and it should save us a lot of support calls. Have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why one client couldn\'t get their mail when others could and the Netscape issue is the culprit.... Many thanks again for the answer...
