Hi, I have the following problem with one name-based account :

all emails sent to the email address that was setup automatically with the account's creation (username@domain.com) don't get received and the following error message gets received by the sender :

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim).

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

    username@domain.com
    (generated from username@domain.com)
all relevant MX records point to non-existent hosts
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If this message is correct then why all the other email addresses of the same account receive all email normally? I've checked the mx entry for this account and it's correct and also are correct all the dns entries.

I would really appreciate it if you could give me a hand. I use the build 60 on a redhat 7.3 box

    Thank you.

You can trace the way the message follows from shell:

    # /path/to/exim -bt -d5 username@domain.com

The greater the number after -d the greater the detail.

I think the upgrade to the build 62 fixed the problem...or just moved the waters and all came back to normal. How or what was fixed....I have no idea.
