    So I've done some searching and no one seems to have the answer to this one.

    I need email wildcards for my addon domains. such as *@sompth.com and *@sumphtinelse.com

    * doesn't work, neither does %

    does cpanel just not accept wildcards for subdomains or addon domains?

    Go on, have a guess
    Your sub/add-on domains should appear in a dropdown box under the settings for the Default Address, that's where you configure where you want the alias to point to.
