On our domain name "domain.com" we have four email addresses set up. Three are simple forwards to gmail addresses which all work perfectly. The other one is a dedicated mail box on the same server "[email protected]".

He has no problem sending mail and we all receive his emails but when any of us send to him from our domain.com addresses he does not receive the emails. They don't bounce back, as far as we see they are sent properly, but he does not receive them.

We are all sending from separate Gmail accounts using our domain name as an alias so not using gmail smtp servers, rather a via VPS but not the one which hosts our domain. ( I hope that makes sense). If I send to him using my basic gmail.com email address he receives it no problem.

I have a feeling it's something to do with MX records. Could it be the local / remote mail exchanger settings but I really have no idea?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Nick

Hello @Zooka,

Can you confirm if the domain name you are sending "from" matches the "domain name you are sending "to" when you notice this issue? For instance, are you sending from "domain.tld" to "domain.tld", or from "domain.tld" to "domain-2.tld"?

Thank you.
