    A simple question:
I have a server for http, mail and ftp with a lot of subdomains and one IP.
Could I use another IP only for mail server (a MX reg)?
I know that I can create a MX record in my DNS server, but how can I say my server that this IP is for mail server?

Perhaps this is a silly question, nut I don't see the answer.
    Thanks

    Go on, have a guess
Not clear on which of the following two you want:

    1. To use a single IP address on the same server for incoming and outgoing email

    2. Use a single IP address on a different server for receiving and sending email from your web server?

Presuming that it is 1, you need to do a search for exim interface on the forums for threads about interface option

That's number 1: To use a single IP address on the same server for incoming and outgoing email, this server is the one used for my http server.
If my http server is listening in xx.yy.25.01, I want that my mailserver (exim) be listening in xx.yy.25.02
    thanks
