    Email Server Problems

I am currently having difficulties receiving email from the server onto Outlook Express, I can send emails; but not receive.

Can anybody tell me how I can sort out this problem, it seems it has to be a server problem since other email identities in Outlook can receive.

    Kind Regards,

    Torild Bastien

What was Outlook Express's error message? That usually gives a clue to what the problem exactly is.

There isn't an error message, it just doesn't download the emails... We can only send email. We have received these emails in the past without problems.
Due to the fact that we do not receive emails in Outlook Express, I forward them from the server to Lycos. This workes fine. I am able to receive emails from GMail to Outlook without problems, but not from this server. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

To view your mail logs give this command as root :

    Code:
    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog
Also check if you can receive mails in your webmail, but I am sure logs will help you much..

    Go on, have a guess
If you're a web hosting customer you should be asking your web hosting provider about these issues.
