    Hi:

One of the host I got with cPanel has a problem. Many users use the mail service very much because many of the domain names installed in the cPanel use just mail service, and exim "eats" too many CPU so the host become slow and slow. I would like to move just the email service to another dedicated server so this second server can just handle the email service.

I've seen in cPanel that for example can be setup to tell MySQL that databases are in another server... but i've not seen anything about email (exim)...

    ¿how can i do it?

Thank you very much in advance

Make an A record for mail

    mail 14440 A 111.222.333.444

and point it to the new mail servers main IP (111.222.333.444) , then change the MX to be like:

    domain.com 14440 MX 0 mail.domain.com.

Then make a zone for the site on the new server soit will handle mail. You may need to do a search for localdomains and remote domains though I rarely have had to append these files in order for the above to work.
