email "suspended" for user account

Has anyone else encountered this?

A user creates an email account, but it refuses to allow them to connect via POP3 or webmail. Upon attempting to log into webmail it says &Access Denied, account suspended& when the overall account is -not- suspended.

I really need to get this resolved, VO support was less than useless in regards to this.

nevermind... my NOC offered me the solution. suspend the account, then unsuspend.
