email working for all user except one??

    Hi,

    I can't figure this out,

    one of the user1@domain.com

    can't recieve email for some reason, its not going to his mailbox what is the reason?

    I tried deleting it and adding it in again, same thing.

    The wierd part is that i make any other user and it work. its able to recieve email and send email what is going on?

    Why doesn't the user1@domain.com don't work?? damit... how do i solved this>.

    do:

    mail -v user1@domain.com
    sub: test
    test
    cntrl+d
    ============

    watch the logs on sreen and check what is wrong.

    Go on, have a guess
    You should watch your exim logs to see what errors are being generated:

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

    Then send the user an email.

    did a mail -v username@domain.com

    cp# mail -v arthur@fmydomain.com
    Subject: test
    test
    EOT
    LOG: MAIN
    <= root@cp.mydomain.com U=root P=local S=323
    cp# delivering 1Bskn7-0002Zd-Sk
    LOG: MAIN
    => arthur <arthur@mydomain.com> R=mailman_virtual_router T=mailman_virtual_transport
    LOG: MAIN
    Completed

    the tail says

    tail -f /var/log/maillog

    nothing why?? i mean it only happen to those user, if i create new user it work why is that?? I mean it only happen to those old user, they an send out mail but just can't recieve them why??

    check this line:
    =========================
    => arthur <arthur@mydomain.com> R=mailman_virtual_router T=mailman_virtual_transport
    =========================
    i guess there is a mailman interferring somevere.

    check /etc/valiases/yourdomainname.com to see if there are any forwarders set.
