I've just started working at a company.

The company made (in Cpanel) an email adress me@yourdomain.com

All of the emails that are send to me, must be forwarded to me@gmail.com

So in Cpanel, we created a email forwarder, followed the steps and we got the confirmation message that all emails to me@yourdomain.com would be forwarded to me@gmail.com

Now, whenever somebody sends an email to me@yourdomain.com, its not being forwarded to my gmail but to the email adress of the site owner owner@yourdomain.com

I've tried removing and replacing the forwarder, no luck.

What did I do wrong ?

When you create an email account, and add a forwarder, any email sent to that email account you created gets the email, and the email is forwarded.

In your cPanel > Mail section > Forwarders, you should see the email Address and where its being forwarded to, you should also see, on the right side, a link to "Trace" the email. Click that. Might get some clues there possibly.
