Emails automatically forward with parked domain?

If I park a domain on top of another, will the emails automatically be interchangable?

Eg:

primary domain: domain1.com
parked domain: domain2.com

Will [email protected] automatically be delivered to [email protected]? Or do I have to set up a forwarder manually?

I have set up domains like this in the past and thought that it didn't automatically work, and that I had to set up forwarders manually. But I just parked a domain for an account with about 75 email addresses, and in searching for a better way found that the tutorials online were saying that it's supposed to be automatic.

If it matters, I'm using WHM 11.23.2 and cPanel 11.23.6-R26881.

You would have to setup a catchall to do that if Im understanding your question correctly.

Basically assign a catchall to each domain to whatever you want.
A catchall would be if you wanted *anything*@domain2.com to go to [email protected]

A domain forwarder would be if you wanted [email protected] to go to [email protected], same with dave@, jim@ and pretty much anything - it just goes to its corresponding address @domain1.com.

In cPanel/WHM environments, parking a domain does not automatically create a domain forwarder (for email). Domain forwarders (for email) must be created separately.
