    Hi,

We have a server which allows you to Send/Receive without errors, although the emails dissappear. Incoming emails don't arrive in the inbox and outgoing mails don't arrive at the destination.

exim_mainlog shows the incoming emails going in, and paniclog and rejectlog dont record any errors.

Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know of a fix? There were no changes made to Exim, so it must have been a CPanel update which caused the problems.

    Thanks,

    Rob

are you using mailscoranner? Exim now splits messages into several directories, and mailscanner will need to be told that!

    Hello amard,

I already see this error. You need check the permission of inbox file of this user (account). The file need to have user:mail, example:

    root@s11 [~]# ls -la /home/USER/mail/DOMAIN/ACCOUNT/
    total 164
    drwxr-x--- 2 user mail 4096 Nov 3 19:07 ./
    drwxr-xr-x 60 user mail 4096 Oct 6 16:53 ../
    -rw-rw---- 1 user mail 153413 Nov 3 19:07 inbox
    root@s11 [~]#

Many times the file inbox have wrong user/group (user:user). Set to user:mail and make a new test. Good luck!

    REgards,
    Minotauro.
