Hi, I have a problem with the emails of my cPanel panel. I currently use an external domain (example.com), with the records pointing to the Server where cPanel and VHM are hosted. The DNS of the domain contains the A records (mail.example.com) pointed to the IP address of the VHM machine, and then an MX record (@) pointed to mail.example.com.

If I access the cPanel Webmail with Roundcube I can send them, but I cannot receive email to the email account created with cPanel, in fact, I tried to send an email from my Gmail mailbox, and I received an error in response (see attached screenshot), and also if I configure the cPanel email account on WordPress through SMTP data, it does not work (always for the same Timeout error).

So in summary, my question is why can't I receive emails? And then how can I configure it on Wordpress? Thanks a lot, I've attached some screenshots to better show you the situation.

Have a play around with MXToolbox and you'll note that your smtp server doesn't appear to be responding.
My initial guess would be that TCP port 25 is blocked in a firewall.

Incidentally, you also appear to be listed in an RBL, which may restrict your ability to send.
