Empty /tmp

    What do i type in in SSH to empty the /tmp directory? cheers

    yeah, I didn't like it when I lost mysql.sock when trying to secure my tmp dir. I accidently deleted everything. I had no joy from that. Now I have joy cause I don't do that any longer :) It definatly isn't like a windows tmp folder... Some of those files actually are worth keeping.

    just don't know what to do when it fills up. its only at 4% at the moment.

    Yeah, just CHECK the tmp files first, and if you don't know what they do: Google is your friend.

    That is not a real smart idea :) first thing i would look for is the cpanel.TMP.* files that are garbage.
