Hello,

I'm trying to disable the Outlook Autoconfig option in webmail. I noticed the "Enable/Disable Outlook AutoConfig" under the cPanel section in WHM, but this function doesn't appear to do anything. It looks like it is supposed to run /scripts/killoutlook. I'm not seeing this script even existing on the server. If you click the disable, it says it disabled it, but when you click on the link again it says it is enabled

Is this link supposed to work? Is there some other area that I should be disabling/removing this link in webmail?

Thanks,
Clinton

Agreed, it doesn't seem to work, tested on WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.9.0-E15689

I'd recommend either submitting a bug report regarding this issue to http://bugzilla.cpanel.net mentioning this thread or submitting a ticket regarding this issue.

Thanks for the tip. I've posted the bug report and found that the link just creates a file here: /var/cpanel/disableoea. They've already got a bug report about WHM removing this file when you go back to the link in WHM.

I've played with this file and it only removes the Outlook configuration from the cPanel email administration section. It doesn't remove the option from the links at the bottom of webmail.

So my question is: Does anyone have suggestions on how to remove the link "Configure Mail Client" from webmail? The link is right after you login and you have the option to chose the client.

Thanks,
Clinton
