Hello,

i see there is DKIM and SPF option in "cPanel/ Email Authentication". These are disabled for my account.
I want to ask what are reasons these options are disabled by default. And if i can globally enable them in WHM for all existing cpanel accounts and all newly created ones / if its wise?

Thank you

Please can You or anyone tell if its good idea to enable it by default? or why its not enabled by default.

Sorry to bump this thread but can you let me know why the default for SPF records is off whereas DKIM is on? I have enabled both but just wondered if there is a down side to doing that (hence the off by default)

I can't think of any downsides to enabling SPF records for all accounts unless some accounts prefer to use custom records. Feel free to open a feature request for a change in the default value of this setting:

Thank you.
