    Enable DOMXML in Cpanel

I'm trying to get my host to enable DOMXML. I think he is trying to get me to upgrade hosting packages instead. His last reply is here:

Is there any truth in this before I upgrade hosting plans? I will miss out on the cpanel, which will suck pretty bad, but I need to be able to parse feeds easily. Thanks.

    Go on, have a guess
Your host is correct. cPanel provide two different XML php parsers:

    XML RPC
    Sablot XSLT

If either of those will suit your needs, then you can ask your web hosting provider if they would rebuild php for you and include one of them.

    Thank you for your reply.

I told them about it and they replied
Looks like I will have to find another solution. Thanks.

Well I think you should find a different host as it does work on most of our servers. It needs simple compilation from WHM >> Update Apache.
