When you say "it doesn't work", what do you mean? Are there any errors? What are you trying to do? Show us your .htaccess

Here is a copy an .htaccess file that is causing an error after EA3:

    #
    # mod_rewrite in use
    #

    RewriteEngine On

    # Uncomment following line if your webserver's URL
    # is not directly related to physical file paths.
    # Update YourMamboDirectory (just / for root)

    RewriteBase /YourMamboDirectory

    #
    # Rules
    #

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^(.*) index.php

Any ideas as to what would cause an error?

If you're using apache 2.2.3 then yes mod_rewrite doesn't work correctly with this version you'll need to update your apache server.
