    Hello everybody!

I am new to cpanel and I have 2 questions:
-Is it possible to enable only one protocole for some users? (like user1 only have pop3, user2 only have IMAP and user3 have both?)

-I understand the "aging" function (remove a mail automatically x days after the first download) was removed, but it there a way to reproduce a similar function? I can check all the mail in may MailDir with a script but I would like to remove only the POP3 mails, not the IMAP...

I would greatly appreciate any help on these topics

Thank you very much and regards

All email users have access to IMAP, POP3 and Webmail. Disabling access to specific protocols for specific email or cPanel accounts is not natively supported by cPanel/WHM at this time.

Email aging (automatically deleting a message after a period of time after a user read it) is no longer supported. With today's larger email quotas, this functionality shouldn't be as necessary. However, I would recommend you instruct your users to manually delete messages they no longer need rather than waiting for the server to automatically do that for them.
