Encrypted email storage question

    For WHM and cPanel, is it possible for mailboxes for each account to be configured to encrypt while in storage and de-crypt when required, that is to say, use encryption at rest?
    In which case, the next question is: what steps are necessary to achieve this on a shared server?

    Hello,

    Email encryption is generally handled at the email-user level with the use of technologies such as S/MIME and PGP to sign, and encrypt, individual messages. This is not implemented directly in cPanel, as it involves the sender and receiver configuring these features in their specific email clients. That said, I encourage you to open a feature request if you'd like to see this type of feature offered in the product:
