Hi,
I am a longtime Ensim user considering moving to cPanel for my server. I am a complete noob with cPanel and would really appreciate it if anyone could help address a few questions.

1. I understand that the import feature enxim (or whatever) of cPanel will theoretically allow relatively painless transfer of my Ensim sites from my old server to a new cPanel server, with the exception of the SQL tables which I will have to deal with manually. Are there many other problems with this approach? Will all of the users and their mailboxes for each site get transferred automatically?

2. My box is currently running RHEL4, I am considering going to a FreeBSD OS server- will there be any problems because of this with the sites and configurations? What do people recommend as far as OS choice for most ease of updates, etc... I am only familiar with RHEL.

Excuse my ignorance, thanks for the attention.

Thanks for the reply. I had read that thread and a bunch of others here but was wondering if there are any problems with the migration besides the SQL tables and obviously besides any odd customizations. So I assume all user mailboxes are intact with the migration feature..

As far as the OS choice, I want to move away from RHEL due to licensing cost. As I understand CentOS or FreeBSD should be fine but wondered if there is any glaring problem since I would be migrating sites from RHEL/Ensim. I assume there would be no such problem.

Opinions are welcomed...
