Friendly reminder to those looking to deploy IPv6 versions of cPanel&WHM, please verify that your network infrastructure can accommodate IPv6 traffic. There have been many reports of firewalls not properly filtering IPv6 traffic.

I am creating this thread so everyone can share any knowledge they gain about hardware or widely used software that does or does not work well with IPv6 and is likely to be deployed in environments where cPanel&WHM is deployed..

    David,
When it will be possible to use IPv6 in cPanel? 11.32? When will it be released?

Can you point out which hardware/models? I have been following IPv6 closely for a long time, and what I've read suggests a firewall either supporst IPv6 and does it adequately, or it doesn't at all.

Agreed. Doing some research this morning, I discovered that ARIN (the folks that maintain North American IP space) has a nifty and actively maintained resource for tracking this information at IPv6 Firewalls - ARIN IPv6 Wiki

The ICANN study linked to at the top of that page dates back to 2007 though, just keep that in mind when viewing that page.
