This is a copy of a post in the cPanel forum..

There are several questions about entropy search in the cPanel and Scripts forums, but hardly one real answer. Our host says they know nothing of entropy or how it works.

    Does anyone know?

In case you're the one who knows - our 2 questions are:

    1) what does entropy display in the SERP (below the % line)? It seems to ignore the description tag and just show title then whatever loose text it finds - which creates a pretty confusing SERP

    2) what is entropy's relevance logic - what decides the %?

    Any advice much appreciated..

    entropy problems

    Hi,
Im having the same problems. My entropy refuses to build a search index for my site. It stops at a certain pecentage and cannot handle as many files as i have. Only when i drastically reduce the size of my website does it work. Im exploring a couple of other options for search. In case they work, ill let u know.
