i just got this email and i dont understand what it means or what im supposed to do to fix it.

S.M.A.R.T Errors on /dev/sda
From Command: /usr/sbin/smartctl -q errorsonly -H -l selftest -l error /dev/sda
ATA Error Count: 216 (device log contains only the most recent five errors)
Error 216 occurred at disk power-on lifetime: 19885 hours (828 days + 13 hours)
----END /dev/sda--

anyone know what this means and what i need to due to correct the problem. im a noob. i've had cpanel for years but i dont usually do more that add and remove domains

While you wait for a more comprehensive reply than mine, I'd suggest backing up all accounts off that server for safe keeping, just in case that drives about to blow.

Lots of threads on this forum using this search string: smartctl

Might be something useful in one of them.
