    I'm using whm 9.1 / cpanel 9.1.0-S73

I get this error when I try to add a DNS zone for a nameserver a client uses.

    -

Bind reloading on locust using rndc zone: [dns3.multicompserver.net] Error reloading bind on locust: rndc: 'reload' failed: not found
    Created DNS entry for dns3.multicompserver.net

    -

    I ran /scripts/fixndc

    and also fixnamed & fixbuggynamed

    restarted bind/named
    and that didn't help.

Anyone have an idea what I need to do? I'm supposed to be moving 200 accounts to this server in a few hours - but this just popped up a couple hours ago...

    rndc problem

I have the same problem, i have 4 servers with the new relationship ( DNS CLUSTERS)

Bind reloading on server2 using rndc zone: [aaas.com] Error reloading bind on server2: rndc: 'reload' failed: not found Bind reloading on server1 using rndc zone: [aaas.com] Error reloading bind on server1: rndc: 'reload' failed: not found Bind reloading on server6 using rndc zone: [aaas.com] Error reloading bind on server6: rndc: 'reload' failed: not foundBind reloading on server5 using rndc zone: [aaas.com] Error reloading bind on server5: rndc: 'reload' failed: not found
    Created DNS entry for aaas.com

The master server seem to be ok, the second one, modify the named.conf but show me as Master, and should be showing a slave, the others two servers seem to be all right except for this message.

    Please help us

    Fri Mar 12 12:50:33 EST 2004
    9.1.0-STABLE_76 (i386)

I tried it - didn't do a damn thing for me.

I'm thuroughly pissed off right now. I had a server move scheduled for 1am cst (today saturday) that I had to push back 24 hours.

Yes - 24 hours - because I assumed cPanel would be on top of this. Wrong there :(

And yes - I'm placing blame on cPanel where it belongs whenever a client asks wtf is going on!

    Still waiting...

This is costing me $250+ now that I can't complete my server migration by our set deadline. We'll have to lease the old server for another month.

Does anyone know if cPanel had legal right to invade our servers and force the upgrade? This is completely unacceptable as I had my servers set to manual for a reason!

Sorry to hear that and NO there is no legal bind that you can get into, just chalk it up as a loss and wish for the best, and keep on cPanel for an update/release.

    Best of luck

Just great!!! I just checked to see if this is common between other servers, tried 15... All 15 same problem!!

The bad part is this is causing major dns issues with users.
