    Hi,

Our customers are trying to add redirect for their domains using / from cPanel but it is giving following error.

Apache detected an error in the Rewrite config.

    Please try again.

OS = CloudLinux Server release 6.3
    Kernel = 2.6.32-379.5.1.lve1.1.9.6.1.el6.x86_64
    WHM version = WHM 11.34.0 (build 9)

We have tried all the possibilities like :
selecting / deselecting following options one by one.
    1. Only redirect with www.
    2. Redirect with or without www.
    3. Do Not Redirect www.
    4. Wild Card Redirect

We have also tried deleting .htaccess, it show the same error

It just creates blank .htaccess file.

For example, our customer is trying to redirect customersdomain.com to customersdomain.com/trans.
So he has opened his cPanel, clicked on redirect option of domains.
selected his domain "customersdomain.com" from drop down list.
Then typed "customersdomain.com/trans" in "redirects to" field.
Then selected "Redirect with or without www." radio button.
After clicked on "Add" gets the below error.

Apache detected an error in the Rewrite config.

    Please try again.
