The only way you would be able to get information about the traffic would be to manually analyze that. You may want to scan the cPanel user to ensure there is no malware present on the account itself.
To make/change a domain name/cPanel settings from 20MB [current Bandwidth Limit Exceeded site shows] bandwidth limit to eg 500GB... when change setting --- to 500GB --- I have to activate anything else? Because I changed to and site again shows: // well??? Bandwidth Limit Exceeded

After making that change you would need to visit WHM >> Unsuspend Bandwidth Exceeders in order to get the message lifted. Can you do that and let me know if you still have issues?
