    Hi,

    I am getting an error returned from xml api.

    error:"Sorry, resellers are not permitted to create subdomains of the server's main domain"

    I see a couple of posts about this that instruct to enable the option in whm. The problem is I don't want to enable this because I am not creating a subdomain. I'm just creating an account for a test customer.

    The parameters I'm sending to createaccount are:
    user - hellohap
    password - hellohap123
    domain - hellohappydomainchecker.com
    email - testemail@gmail.com
    package - isimmons_test_pak

    This is the xml string sent:
    /xml-api/createacct?username=hellohap&password=hellohap154 &contactemail=ian@metrotechpc.com&plan=isimmons_test_pak&domain=hellohappydomainchecker.com &ip=n&cgi=y&frontpage=y&cpmod=x3&useregns=0&reseller=0

    This was working about a week ago. Am I correct that this is not supposed to be a subdomain of mydomain.com?

    Thanks for any suggestions or assistance.

    problem solved. The error was misleading me. There is a space right after hellohappydomainchecker.com that was causing whm to throw that error.
