I have done much research into this error, and have not been able to figure it out.

It happens when I try to "Addon Domains".

I have seen multiple threads with answers stating to check the following:

    /var/cpanel/users
    /var/named/ del the domain.db file
    /etc/named.conf
    /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
    /etc/localdomains
    /etc/userdomains
    /etc/valiases/
    /etc/vdomainaliases/
    /etc/trueuserdomains
    /etc/trueuserowners
    /etc/vmail/
    cd /var/cpanel/bandwidth/

But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to locate these files, to check and edit them?

If someone could please enlighten me on how to locate these files I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.

Are you the sysadmin for your server - you have access using the username "root"? If not, you'd probably need to contact your web host/sysadmin to have a look at those for you, as you wouldn't usually have access.

If you do have root access, you can use an SSH program, such as PuTTy, to log in to the server's command line and take a look at those files.
