    Check your Libs

Maybe your libs are not where they should be

I have the following curl directories:

    /usr/share/curl
    /usr/bin/curl
    /usr/include/curl
    /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/curl-7.15.3/src/.libs/curl
    /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/curl-7.15.3/src/curl
    /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/curl-7.15.3/include/curl
    /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/php-4.4.4/ext/curl
    /installd/buildapache/php-4.4.4/ext/curl

the .../include/curl ones maybe the key as they might have *.h files that may define the missing stuff

    anyhow that's where i'd start

Same problem. I have found a fix for it through php bugs, but I cannot get it to install, since whenever I overwrite the bad area of the curl.c file, Cpanels apache builder downloads the bad version from Cpanel again. Anyone have any success in other ways?

    Thanks!

    Same here:

    make [@php-5.2.0]...(install)....Done
/usr/home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/php-5.2.0/ext/curl/interface.c:372: error: `CURLOPT_FTPASCII' undeclared (first use in this function)
/usr/home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/php-5.2.0/ext/curl/interface.c:372: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
/usr/home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/php-5.2.0/ext/curl/interface.c:372: error: for each function it appears in.)
/usr/home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/php-5.2.0/ext/curl/interface.c:412: error: `CURLOPT_PASSWDFUNCTION' undeclared (first use in this function)
    /usr/home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/php-5.2.0/ext/curl/interface.c: In function `zif_curl_copy_handle':
/usr/home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/php-5.2.0/ext/curl/interface.c:1164: error: `CURLOPT_PASSWDDATA' undeclared (first use in this function)

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Check what version of curl you have running on your server...

    rpm -qa |grep curl

    Remove it....

    rpm -e curlversion

    cd /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/curl-7.15.3

    ./configure

    make

    make install

Run /scripts/easyapache and it will compile fine.

    Thanks!

Thank you! It worked! I've spent 3 days and the tech guys who I rent my server from. So much has been done, and this is all I needed! Thank you SOOO Much!

We had the same problem on FreeBSD... deinstall curl from ports and reinstalling and then rebuilding apache using easyapache does not seem to work. Anyone have any thoughts?

This is fixed on freebsd by:

    cd /usr/ports/ftp/curl
    make deinstall
    cd /home/cpapachebuild/buildapache/curl-7.15.3
    ./configure
    make
    make install

    Run /scripts/easyapache
