RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.locksmithunit\.es$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ "https\:\/\/locksmithunit\.es\/$1" [R=301,L]
</IFModule>

###############################################################################
# Error Document
###############################################################################
# Autoptimize | AO 404 Hendler
#ErrorDocument 404 /wp-content/autoptimize_404_handler.php?error=404

# Apache cPanel Default
ErrorDocument 400 /400.shtml
ErrorDocument 401 /401.shtml
ErrorDocument 403 /403.shtml

shtml custom error pages via cPanel interface.
i showed that in the htacsses as well.

the problem is WordPress control 404 now with the permalink option:

CPanel error pages, not work.
i create 404.shtml ,403.shtml and more...
put the ErrorDocument with the right response to the right cpanel shtml page: (404.shtml, and on.... 403, 500....)

But is not show the error pages... i get a 404 error without redirect to the 404.shtml page or any error page.

# Apache cPanel Default
ErrorDocument 400 /400.shtml
ErrorDocument 401 /401.shtml
ErrorDocument 403 /403.shtml
ErrorDocument 404 /404.shtml
ErrorDocument 406 /406.shtml
ErrorDocument 500 /500.shtml

my website is:
REDACTED

any wrong url need bring you to this page:
domain.com/404.shtml

this is not happening...
hope you understand the explanation.

Thanks for the specific details about the issue. Since WordPress is handling the domain's content you would need to use their custom 404 system in order to get that working properly:

as the default pages created in cPanel are not something WordPress will use. Can you try that instead and see if that works properly?

If you try and visit a site or folder that is not controlled by WordPress, such as yourdomain.com/testidirectory/file-that-doesn't-exist.html, does the 404 page work as you expect?

If not, could you please submit a ticket so we can check the server for you?

No is not what i try to explain in my first post.
Error pages via cPanel interface not work.
The problem i see Cpanel id and the license belongs to the hosting company...
I think the solution needs to be here.

Hosting provider very bad... they dont even care...

We would need root access to the system to be able to check things on our end, so if you don't have that I would need to point you directly to the hosting provider as I would expect those tools to work normally on a cPanel system.
