Error - Please Please -help as it is killing our mailsystem

    Hi,
    Install was mailscanner and clamAV

    Have installed from cpanelplus site as it said exactly but now in the maillog I continually get the following error. Please help in fixing this problem - I am desperate.
    Unsure if this is also killing spam and the standard cpanel install. I dont wish to start again. If I need to how can we reset back to standard cpanel. Please

    mkdir exim_incoming
    cd exim_incoming
    mkdir db
    mkdir input
    mkdir msglog
    chown mailnull:mail *
    chmod 750 *

    Directories

    Sorry about the cross - pposting.
    So all the dir that you require me to install are just missing. Are there any files suppost to be in these directories??

    Just one more error

    Hi,

    Now have it installed and scanning mail correctly. The only thing now is iit wont do update - re the following error. Could someone please tell me what this error relates to in respect to how it is called and which files. PPlease let me know the correct structure for the files and what I am possibly missing.

    Try typing in freshclam and if you get any errors, post them here.

    Error after running

    The following error occurred

    root@host [~]# freshclam

    One other error which may help

    Hi

    This is another error that I recieve via email every hour - hopefully this may help with what the error in update is


    /etc/cron.hourly/check_MailScanner:

    MailScanner manually shut down (no /var/lock/subsys/MailScanner.off file).
    Not restarting.

    Fixed one

    Hi,
    It seems that the first error was being caused by the dir and files being owned by root We changed them to be owned by clamav and now seems to have solved that one problem but still have the other one.
